The NV Pedro Ximénez Solera 1927 is non-vintage, but does have some 1927 material in it. This is totally dark brown/ amber with notes of figs, toffee, caramel syrup, molasses and coffee. It is dense, super sweet, intense, rich and an amazingly, unctuously textured, thick beverage to consume slowly and introspectively after a meal. Drink now through 2050, or even longer.
Offering aromas of honeysuckle, nectarine, bread and fresh hazelnut. Medium to full-bodied with bright acidity and complemented by a pillowy mousse, it concludes with a long, sapid finish.

Sour-cream and cooked-apple nose. Loose bead but it's by no means flabby. Like the 7 Crus, it has breadth but the fruit tastes riper and richer. Peaches and very intense citrus. Round finish.
This has sophisticated aromas of cashew butter, fresh apricots, lemon curd and vanilla custard. Some slate and sage on the palate, too, which is medium- to full-bodied, cool and caressing.

Energetic and seamless at the same time, I want to smell and drink this all day. It has a great, rounded mouthfeel with citrus oils that last for days on the palate.
