Richard Kershaw is de onbetwiste meester van de kleine, koele Zuid-Afrikaanse regio Elgin. Recentelijk is hij ook op zoek gegaan naar interessante terroirs in de omgeving van Elgin. De exclusieve GPS-serie (Grape Positioning System) is daarvan het spannende en indrukwekkende resultaat.  Voor zijn GPS Syrah vond Richard uitermate geschikte wijngaarden in Klein River, een zogenaamde ward in het district Overberg.
