A dry mild winter caused an early budburst, but fortunately there was no frost damage during the cool spring to reduce production. Very healthy grapes were picked on 6 th October in perfect weather, warm but not hot, providing excellent fenolic maturation and great sugar-acidity balance.
Recantina uit de Montello e Colli Asolani DOC, geproduceerd door Serafini & Vidotto in Veneto. De autochtone Recantina-druif werd lange tijd bijna niet meer verbouwd, maar is opnieuw aangeplant in de heuvels rond Nervesa della Battaglia.
