Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Second Skin is een bijzondere champagne gemaakt van 100% Chardonnay, afkomstig uit de beste wijngaarden van de Champagne-regio. De kalkrijke bodems van de Côte des Blancs geven de druiven frisheid en finesse. De vinificatie gebeurt met respect voor het terroir: koude fermentatie in inox tanks, gevolgd door een lange rijping sur lie om complexiteit te ontwikkelen. De “Second Skin” verwijst naar de speciale, milieuvriendelijke verpakking die de fles beschermt. De stijl is strak, fris en elegant, met een pure expressie van witte bloemen en citrus.

Proefnotitie

Helder en fris met aroma’s van groene appel, witte bloemen, brioche en lichte toast. Fijne, aanhoudende mousse. Mondvulling met strakke zuren, mineraliteit en een verfijnde, langdurige afdronk.

Drinken bij

Bij oesters, lichte visgerechten zoals zeebaars of als aperitief.

Houdbaarheid

Prachtig vanaf release, maar ontwikkelt zich ook mooi in de jaren daarna.
